You Will

  • Work closely with project owners to ensure effective copy and content is created for each assigned task/client
  • Write and edit compelling copy for web, email, print and social media content
  • Have the opportunity to be mentored and lead by key members of the content and strategy teams for potential growth in duties and responsibilities
  • Be assigned individual KPIs will be assigned to the role with benchmarks celebrated throughout the first 90 days of the role
  • Leverage data points and client feedback to build compelling narratives with clearly communicated goals
  • Understand and exemplify the deep relationship between the written word and visual design
  • Capture the essence of in-person conversations and translate that content into universally accessible written information
  • Work from concept to completion, producing content in a variety of versions/revisions per task
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and maintain a drive for results in each task
  • Show a strong understanding of and ability to edit and proof work for all departments
  • Be curious and consistently willing to learn new things beyond the job description

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience writing various forms of copy and content across different media
  • Completed or in-progress bachelor’s degree, preferably with an emphasis in creative writing, journalism or communications
  • Elevated skillset in copywriting, content writing and editing
  • Ability to be resourceful and innovate solutions for complex problems individually and as part of a team
  • Strong intrinsic motivation to work diligently under tight deadlines
  • All-around passion for content marketing and the creative industry
  • Interest in the development of systems and processes that replicate success for our team and our clients
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Google Docs, Google Sheets and WordPress CMS
  • Preferred working knowledge of AP Style or other style guide
  • Cursory knowledge of website development/design
  • SEM copywriting and video/scriptwriting experience a plus
