You Will

  • Be critical in defining the content needs of projects, websites, and campaigns our team creates
  • Work closely with clients to determine necessary content pieces for each project
  • Work with internal teams to prioritize strategic content creation and recommend strategies that make content most effective
  • Help lead internal marketing, new business, and pitch efforts related to content strategy
  • Work with internal team partners to identify issues with clients’ existing content and suggest specific ways to improve it
  • Work with the data strategist to measure content effectiveness according to our clients’ KPIs
  • Work with copywriter to enforce content marketing best practices and set/follow guidelines for content style, voice and tone
  • Lead the creation or facilitation of:
    • Brand messaging and brand pillars
    • Content-related stakeholder interviews
    • Content marketing strategies, plans, and themes
    • Content partnerships and tools
    • Sitemapping and information architecture for website builds
  • Support agency efforts by expanding into responsibilities as they are identified, taking on new strategic, creative and data-driven tasks
  • Monitor content marketing trends and identify relevant applications for client work
  • Deliver mentorship and leadership through content strategy training to key partners in the business
  • Provide education for the organization and marketing community in the form of blogging, article writing, and event public speaking

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in creating and writing content for web and other digital media outlets
  • 2+ years’ experience in content management or strategy
  • Fluent understanding of current digital design trends and creative development processes
  • Exceptional time management, project management, communication and problem-solving skills
  • An understanding of iterative/agile web application development processes and CMS concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks for multiple projects
  • Experience working with information architecture and taxonomies
  • Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Google Sheets and WordPress CMS
  • Preferred degree in related field
