Role Overview

Timmermann Group is a rapidly growing digital marketing agency with a strategic, data-driven approach to helping our clients achieve their goals. As an Analytics Intern, you will be responsible for supporting our team in managing data collection and analysis for our clients’ marketing efforts. You will work closely with team members to gather and interpret data from multiple sources, analyze marketing performance, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize future campaigns.

Additionally, you will assist in creating reports and dashboards that effectively communicate data insights to clients.


You Will

  • Assist in the collection and analysis of data across various channels such as web traffic, social media, and email
  • Assist in setting up and tracking conversion goals and events for digital marketing campaigns
  • Report to the Lead Strategist, analyzing marketing performance and identifying areas for improvement
  • Assist in creating reports and dashboards that clearly communicate data insights to clients
  • Help maintain data accuracy and cleanliness by performing regular, proactive audits and checks
  • Collaborate with the team to develop data-driven strategies for future campaigns
  • Research and analyze revenue-generating trends using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and other relevant tools
  • Assist with other tasks as needed to support the strategy department and the digital marketing team


  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and practices
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Sheets
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and communicate insights effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced digital marketing agency environment
  • Available to work full-time in a hybrid environment that includes both in-office work at our St. Louis location
  • USA applicants only


  • Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or Google Tag Manager certification
  • Prior experience in data analysis or digital marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics, marketing, business, or related field
